Tribal Afghan Wool
An authentic looking collection of Tribal/Afghan designs incorporating Pure New Zealand Wool.
A popular Tribal is the Sultan and very similar Saracen designs which have the look and feel of a fine handmade carpet.
The Pazyryk is the earliest surviving Tribal carpet. Woven over 2500 years ago it was preserved in ice at a Siberian burial site until uncovered in 1947. We have a copy of this historic piece in two different sizes now for sale at our Fyshwick showroom or see the original at the Hermitage Museum in Russia.
